Cooper
As long as I can remember we have always had a dachshund in our family. Britney was 3 when my Mom was pregnant with me. From what I have been told she kept asking if I was going to be a puppy! :) My parents decided to get Tanner when I was born. We were two peas in a pod. Where ever I went Tanner went along. When I was in 6th grade we lost our little Tanner. It was one of the hardest things I ever had to deal with. After weeks of not having Tanner around we decided it was time to have another pup in the house. Britney and I picked out a female this time and named her Sophie. She was such a sweet dog. A couple of years later I begged my parents for another pup for my birthday. They came home with another weenie and we named her Lucy. She and Sophie were the best of friends. When I was off at college Lucy passed away. And about 2 years ago Sophie went to join Tanner and Lucy in doggie heaven. :( Since then Mom and Dad have been putting off getting another dog. I don't know how they have gone this long. Jason (Britney's husband) told them the favorite grandparents always have a dog and cookies :) Well, sure enough around Christmas they started looking for a rescue dog. You all know that I am a very big supporter of C.A.R.E for Animals, so that's where Mom and Dad started their search. They found a few pups they liked but they had their eye on the new dachshund pup named Cooper. A few weeks ago Cooper had his trial run with Mom and Dad. It went great! And they lived happily ever after :-)
Cooper is so sweet, and you should see he and Silas play. They are just the way Tanner and I were! I am so happy Mom and Dad decided to get a C.A.R.E. dog. I took a few pics of him the other night. He is such a cutie.

If any of you are thinking of getting a pup be sure to check out your local shelters. There are so many sweet dogs that need a loving home.

Vivian's 2nd Session
Oh my goodness! What a sweet little baby. I was so excited when I got to Scott and Heather's house the other day and they said they wanted to start out with bath time pictures. Ah it was so fun! Vivian loved getting her bath and playing with her hot pink duck. We headed up to her nursery for the rest of the pictures. I have so many favorites to share with you guys. While I was looking through these I started to cry.......... I am SO pregnant :) All of the pictures with Scott or Heather loving on her..... okay, I can't talk about it anymore. Anyway, hope you guys enjoy.

Big News!!!!
Hey Everyone! It's Britney here. I think Sarah is too excited to concentrate right now, so I had to take a sec to post the big news.... It's a girl!!! We all are so excited! Sarah and Taylor are thrilled!!! They have the coolest ultrasound dvd so we got to see sweet baby girl wave to us. She lifted up her arm and spread out her hand so we could see all of her little fingers. It was so sweet! Silas will have a baby girl cousin to play with now! We will have to keep practicing the word "Gentle"!!! Have a wonderful night.

Lola
I have been meaning to post these picture I took of Ryan and his pup Lola before Christmas. What a funny dog. Boxers have the best personalities. She was so excited to be out in a new place. I had them come out to our neigborhood so we could let her run wild. And that is exactly what she did when Ryan took her leash off :) We have tons of deer and other animals out here so she had a lot of tracking to do. I got some really great pictures and wanted to share them with you. Hope you guys enjoy!

Cute Pups!
I got a little behind over the Christmas holidays and didn't get to blog some great pup pictures I took. I thought, well why not today ;) Hope you like them. By the way, I think 3 if not all 4 of the dogs are rescue dogs. Isn't that great! I love to hear that people are supporting our local shelters and adopting these sweet animals that just want to be loved.

These 2 where a hoot to photograph. Lucy was all about the camera and showing off her bone. Maggie on the other hand was scared to death of my camera. I put it down for a while and played around with her in the yard and she was totally fine. But as soon as I put the camera up she would run off and hide behind things including her dad :)

Silas & Gus
I totally forgot about this video we got of Silas and Gus before Christmas. They are so funny. Silas every time he sees a picture of a weimaraner he says "Gus". He and Gus love each other so much. I am sure a lot of you guys are wondering about Gracie. Well she is 9 years old and is a total snob. She doesn't let anyone touch her unless she out of the blue decides to let you. So she steers clear of wild man Silas. :) Anyway, yall check out this video. It is so cute.

Exciting News!
I have been dying to announce the big news here on the blog! Taylor and I are expecting our first little baby July 13th. We are SO excited! I just finished my first trimester and am glad to have it behind me ;) I haven't been too sick which has been really nice.
So okay I took not 1 but 4 test a few months back when we found out. We were only 4 weeks and just couldn't believe it had finally happened. Obviously since I took 4 test :) My brother-in-law said to me, "The baby is about the size of a poppy seed right now, little Poppy Seed Adams." And so the name stuck that is just for now until we find out the sex of the baby. :) I mean I couldn't just call the baby IT. So why not Poppy Seed! My first appointment wasn't till 9 weeks and I was so anxious to see the doctor and hopefully get an ultrasound. I told the nurse as soon as I got there that I wasn't going to leave until I got one :) My doctor is super nice and I think we found a great match. I got my ultrasound and everything looked really good.
I just had my second appointment last week and all is good. YEA!!!! My friend Jyl is going to do an ultrasound on me next week so we can find out what the sex of Poppy Seed is. Ya'll I can not tell you how excited Taylor and I both are. We can't wait!
I am going to put a poll on the blog later today. Be sure to vote if you think Poppy Seed will be a girl or a boy. I mean you got a 50/50 change of being right :) I think it is going to be a boy but my family thinks girl for sure. I guess we will see soon enough.
Man does it feel good to get that out in the open ;) Oh also Brit and my parents had a few packages for Poppy Seed at Christmas. Check out these adorable little onesies. So stinkin cute.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day.

John & Julie: Married!
This past weekend I was in Hot Springs with Julie and John. What a lovely couple they are. I was so honored when they called me to book me for their wedding. I had photographed Julie's sister's wedding about a year ago and I enjoyed working with their family so much.
The weekend was perfect. Since it was a January wedding they had planned on freezing cold tempurtures. You never know here in Arkansas what it will be like. It ended up getting up to 80 degrees on Saturday! It was like a Spring day. The ceremony was so sweet. The way Julie and John looked at each other. Ah, you could just feel the love between the two of them. One thing I thought was so cool was they had a cocktail hour for their guests while we finished up pictures at the church. When they opened the doors to the ballroom Julie and John were the first to go in. The expressions on their faces was priceless. The decorations were so beautifully done. It was like a winter wonderland. I couldn't wait to share some of my faves from the wedding. I hope you all enjoy; and don't forget about the slideshow at the bottom.
Julie and John, it was such a joy working with you guys. I feel like a part of your family now. I hope you have a wonderful life together and a great honeymoon in February.
